The leg joinery is genuine fully-encased mortise and tenon with functional maple pins driven through the entire joint and bonded with advanved modern adhesives for added strength. Materals come in as full width premium rough cut timber that is methodically culled and grain matched by experienced hand and eye for the ideal appearance and strength.
Every table bears the mark of its maker and the pride of having been made in the true spirit of the Shakers.

The leg joinery is genuine fully-encased mortise and tenon with functional maple pins driven through the entire joint and bonded with advanved modern adhesives for added strength. This tradtional all-wood joinery will outlast any modern fastening system.
The top is secured with traditional 'glue blocks' that are fastened with modern screws rather than hide glue which remain sturdy through seasonal movement and are easy to remove if nessecary for repairs or refinishing down the line.
