Methods of Work
The shaker inspired high arch bracket base is dovetailed with the top section of the joint cut as a miter. This allows for the seamless integration of the cove trim cut directly into the structure of the base rather than an applied moulding that would come loose over time. The dovetails are on full display on each corner adding a signifigant amount of strength and beautiful architectural interest. The dovetails are cut by hand and close examination reveals the subtle differences in agles and sizing in relation to each other as well as toolmarks and other evidence of masterful craftsmanship.
